Flight schedule:
May 23, 2007
11:45 AM
Diosdado Macapagal Airport (Clark Airport)
AirAsia, Flight No. AK 032
Angeles, Pampanga

The night before our flight, we went to Pampanga already and stayed overnight at Tita Malou's place.
I woke up at around 6 AM to prepare since our cousins would drop-by to fetch us (Vanj and I) by 8am. Mom and dad left before 8 AM so they could get back to SJC immediately (enrollment rush at St. John's Academy!).
Anyway, my cousins came at around 9 so we arrived at the airport for check-in before 11.

There had been a problem with our (Vanj & I) flight. The airport staff told us we couldn't fly with our cousins due to some major Immigration policies. Vanj and I are minors; we are travelling without our parents but with two cousins and two aunts. It was our first out-of-the-country trip so we were not aware of the rule that, in our case, we should have with us a DSWD travel clearance/ permit signed by our parents. So there, sad and all, we were left :(
Uncle Ed came back to the airport to bring us again to Tita Lou's place.
Mom and dad, after being informed of the problem, took another 4-hour trip going back to Pampanga to eventually fix the needed DSWD permit. (Err..I was kinda shy 'cause they were sure tired of travelling, plus, they actually are so busy with our school). Anyway, with all love and support, they arrived before 4 PM. We then went straight to DSWD. It was such a rrrrush. Imagine the kind of rush we had - travel clearance in less that an hour! That must really be stressful!
Anyway, we happily got the permit. hay. I simply saw the unconditional love they had for us.
Although we trashed some resources (our travel tickets were forfeited already, Thai hotel reservations, permit, etc..etc..), it was also one way to thank the Lord. We then realized how blessed we are not being much worried and fed-up of all the expenses put in vain- I tell you, it is a great blessing indeed.
Left at the airport,

That must have been a lot of trouble you went through. But I'm sure it was worth it.
